Born February 23, 1944 in Big Jenny, WV she was the daughter of the late Christopher Jennings and Tishie Edith Dunnigan Jennings."Linda was a former Head Start bus driver, she was devoted to her family and she was of the Protestant Faith.
"In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Clifford Adams; one brother, Christopher C. Jennings; and three sisters, Rita Jennings, Ruth Stevenson and Joann Lusk."Those left to cherish her memories are two sons, Danny Lee Adams and Jimmy Ellis Adams both of Welch; one daughter, Rose Anna Shupe of Princeton; one brother, Roger Jennings and wife Audrey of Saulsville, WV; two sisters, Delilah Christine Bromfield and husband Willard of Saulsville and Betty Hutchins and husband Lee of Zephyrhills, FL; four grandchildren, Rebecka Smith and husband Thomas of Wytheville, Jacob Adams and fiancé Courtney Wade, of Bluefield, Joleena Punturi and husband Jeremy of Rural Retreat, VA and Brianna Rose Burbett of Charleston.

"Phillip C. Carrington, 67, of Oceana, WV, went home to be with Jesus on June 30, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born on July 31, 1954 in Mansfield, OH a son of the late Roy and Thelma McDaniels Carrington. Mr. Carrington worked at a factory in Eden, NC and the WV Department of Highways. He loved playing his guitar, singing with family and friends, and having fun times with his family. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife Vada Carrington, a son Frank Billups, a sister Judy Pettry and husband Roger, two brothers Jerry and LeRoy Dicky Carrington, special friends Posey Pettry, and Chester Randolph "Randy" Willis, and a few nieces and nephews.
