"Freda Jo Beltran, 70, of Oregon, Ohio, was called home to be with The Lord on Thursday, February 1st, 2024.She was born in Iaeger, West Virginia, on January 28th, 1954, to Garnett and Willa Faye (Cooper) Roberts.

"Freda was a 1972 graduate of Morrison R. Waite High School in Toledo, Ohio. After high school, Freda was employed at Crown Cork and Seal until 2001 when the company was no longer in business. She was also a member of the UFCW Local 911 Union. She then pursued and received her Associate's Degree in Hospitality Management and started an internship with Holiday Inn French Quarter in Perrysburg, Ohio; where she then became employed until 2005. Being the outgoing and people person she was, she then became a successful saleswoman at Matthews Ford in Oregon, Ohio, until her retirement.

"Freda loved to travel and see new places and she made a friend wherever she went. In 2015, Freda moved to Bradenton, Florida, until 2019, where she enjoyed retirement and spending time with her daughter, Cindy, and grandkids. She became a member of Harbor Community Church of Bradenton, Florida.

"In 2019, Freda then moved back to Bryan, Ohio, to be with her son, Clayt, and his family, where she lived out the rest of her days.

"Freda loved to dance, listen to music (especially Motown), spend time with her grandkids and cook some of the best fried chicken you've ever had. Being around Freda felt like home and like you have known her forever. She had a huge heart and had made many friends over the years. She had a great group of friends from high school that stayed close until her final days.

"Surviving is her brother, Robin (Debbie) Scott Roberts; children, Cindy Beltran Underwood and Clayt (Sandy) Beltran; grandchildren: Dylan, Haley, Alec and Abigal Underwood; Cooper, Colby, Huckly, and Henry Beltran; and Brayden and Parker Epling; and niece and nephew Taylor Marie Roberts and Joshua Cooper Roberts. Freda was preceded in death by her parents, Garnett and Willa Faye Roberts.

"The family will receive friends at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 1:00 pm until the time of memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Freda's name may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
