"Jimmie Denver "Bird" (Dunford) Shrader 35, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his residence in North Carolina. He was born Sept 19, 1981 in Welch, WV to the late Jim Dunford and Virginia Hunt. He attended school at Big Creek High where he graduated. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by grandparents Cora Shrader and Mamie Dunford. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and stepfather, Robert and Virginia Hunt; brother Robert Shrader of Tazewell, VA; three children, Drake and Jaylene Shrader of Berwind,WV and Katie Shrader of Tennessee; grandfather Roy Shrader of Yukon #2 Yukon, WV and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 14, 2017 at 12 noon at the Pentecostal Holiness Church Yukon #2 in Yukon, WV with the Rev. Lacy Griffith and Rev. Melvin Muncy officiating. Burial will follow at the Hartwell Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday April 13, 2017 from 6 to 9 pm at the Pentecostal Holiness Church Yukon#2 in Yukon, WV. Pallbearers will be Don Kirk, John Wagoner, Robert Shrader, Dwayne Keene and friends."
