"Esther Delphia Presley, 68, of Mauck Port, IN, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 in Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN."Esther was born January 9, 1957 in Welch, WV, a daughter of the late Marvin and Ruby Fleenor Finley. Esther was formerly of Welch, and a retired cook from the Sterling Drive Inn.
"In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by one grandson, Lincoln George; sisters, Beverly Helen Belcher, Eura Marie Presley, Ginger Kay Rose, Francis Elizabeth Stevenson, and Tammy Sue Martin; brothers, Jimmy Ray Finley, Donald Dale Finley, Ronald Gale Finley and Marty Anthony Finley.
"Survivors include two sons, Edward Lee George and companion Sara of Welch, and Franklin David George Jr, and wife Jessica of Mauck Port, IN; eight grandchildren, Dominique Leanne Burks, William George, Karissa George, Franklin “LB” George, Ruby George, Jerimiah George, Sapphire George, and Elijah George; two brothers, Marvin “Bud” Finley of Camp Creek, WV and Bill Finley of Princeton, WV; brother-in-law, Danny Stevenson of Princeton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

"Funeral services will be conducted at 12 o’clock Monday, January 27, 2025 with Reverend Merle Pruett officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in the Riffe Cemetery on Atwell Mountain near Atwell, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
