"Randall Leo Halsey, 78, of Maben, passed away December 13, 2015 at Raleigh General Hospital following complications of heart and pulmonary disease. He was the son of the late Aubrey Mack Halsey (Deceased) and Elizabeth England (Deceased)."He was born September 16, 1937 in Maben, West Virginia. He served in the United States Army from 1955-1957. His achievements in the military were Good Conduct Medal, sharp shooter and expert (SMG Caliber 45). He worked for 10 years at a steel mill in Chicago and as a coal miner in West Virginia for 21 years. Randall loved going to flea markets and estate sales. Most importantly, he professed to be saved a few weeks before his death.
"In addition to his parents, those preceding him in death are brothers, Rodney Halsey (Deceased), Raben Halsey (Deceased), David Halsey (Deceased) and Dean Halsey (Deceased); sister, Lenora “Boots” Halsey-McGee (Deceased).
