"Alice Louise Lester, a loving matriarch and pillar of strength, passed away in her home at the age of 81 in Mabscott, WV. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her."Alice was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who found joy in the simple things – watching birds, listening to music, and dancing along. Her greatest achievement in life was raising her children and grandchildren, whom she loved more than anything.

"Anthony Wayne Stewart, 62, of Oceana, WV passed away on Wednesday October 21, 2020 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV. He was born on June 10, 1958 in Mullens, WV a son of the late Herndon P. and Earnie Toler Stewart. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Leann Stewart; and two brothers Paris Stewart and Joseph Leon Stewart. Anthony is of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his loving wife Joyce Ann Clark Stewart; a daughter Rose Mary Counts; two sons Josh Stewart and Kenneth Wray; three sisters Poly Ann Stone, Brenda Harvey and Linda Lusk; three brothers Gary Stewart, Terry Stewart and Jimmy Stewart; nine grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends. Graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday October 24th at the Kopperston Community Cemetery, Kopperston, WV with Bro, Kenneth Wray officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV."
