"Joe Dwayne Strattis Sr., 62, of Welch, West Virginia, entered eternal rest on July 6, 2024 at his home."He was born to the late Roy and Edith Pruitt Strattis on September 20, 1961, in Iaeger, West Virginia, and from that day forward, he lived a life that expressed kindness, love, and unwavering devotion to his family.
"Throughout his life, Joe was a true lover of the simple pleasures life had to offer. His days were filled with the laughter of his grandchildren, with whom he spent countless hours playing basketball. Joe's spirit came alive with music, dancing, and singing. He brought light to many gatherings. He also enjoyed swimming and fishing. Joe was an inspiration to all who knew him. His passion for life and love for his family will never be forgotten.
