He was born on January 13, 1952, in Welch, WV a son of the late Fred Bishop and Rosie (Radford) Bishop."Arthur was a retired coal miner of 14 years and was known for his dedication to his work. He was a hardworking individual who took pride in his career.
"Arthur loved to trade and was a regular attendee of the Rod Run in the Smoky Mountains, where he enjoyed the company of his family and friends. Arthur also had a passion for classic car auctions, feeding the deer, caring for his chickens, spending time at his cabin, hunting, fishing, and being around horses.
"Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 12 o’clock, with Bro. Tim Akers officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Welch, WV. Burial will follow in the Twin Branch Family Cemetery at Twin Branch, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
