"Jason Alan Payne, 47, of Jolo, WV passed away Friday, May 10, 2024."Jason was born July 2, 1976. He enjoyed woodworking, spending time with his family, and the outdoors.
"Jason is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Della Mae and Marvin “Clayton” Branscome and paternal grandparents, Daisy Ellen and Eldridge Payne.
"Survivors include his father, Roy (Tina) Payne of Bradshaw, WV; mother, Kathy (Roger) Vance of Michigan; one daughter Andrea (Greg) Finley of Welch, WV; three grandchildren Cambree, Eli, and Addisyn Finley of Welch; one sister Janice (Vinnie) Palazzo of NC; one brother, Zachary (McKenzie) Payne of TN; two nephews Dalton and Dillon Cline of NC; one niece, Lilliana Payne of TN; one special cousin, Cristie Kennedy; and special aunt Elaine Vance.
"Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11 o’clock with Reverend Johnnie Cooper officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in the John R. and Hettie Hagerman Cemetery on Rockridge near Paynesville, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.

"Lorine Bailey, 68, of Panther, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her family."Lorine was born June 10, 1955 in Panther a daughter of the late Dewey and Eddie Branham Matney.
"In addition to her parents, Lorine was preceded in death by one sister, Emilou Lester; one brother, Freelan Matney; a brother-in-law, Ira Lester; and two sisters-in-law, Molly Matney and Jerleen Matney.
"Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Leonard Bailey Sr. of the home; children, Leonard (BoBo) Bailey Jr. and wife Juanita of Davy, Richard Bailey and wife Amanda of Panther, Kristie Browning and husband John of Iaeger, Regina Justus and husband Homer (Bo) of Max Meadows, VA, Dennis Bailey and wife Heather of Panther, and Kevin Bailey and fiancée Jessica Justice of Iaeger; grandchildren, Amber Bailey, Austin Bailey, Tessa Bailey, Tyler Bailey, Brittany Davis, Courtney Browning, Haley Justus, Kaitlyn Justus, Brady Bailey, Leah Bailey , Miranda Bailey; Hunter Bailey, Lillian Bailey, Alaina Grace Bailey, and Aubrey Rowe; great grandchildren, Addison Matney, Bentlee Matney, Weston Davis, Kelsey Davis, Laney Bailey, Lyalh McCollum and Corah McCollum; sisters, Geraldine Lester, Adeleen Lester and husband Roy, Maxine Lauderback and husband Lewis; brothers, Gathern Matney and wife Frances, Lindsey Matney and wife Beulah, Elbert Matney, James Matney and wife Penny, Jonathon Matney and wife Tasha; and a host of nieces and nephews.
