She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and was active in church activities. She was also a member of the Manassas Park Women's Club and was active in the Senior Group; and an active participant throughout her years in Boy Scouts of America, PTA and Recreation. She was the Commissioner of Revenue for Manassas Park for 19 years having retired in 1996. Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Karmosky of Dumfries; four sons, Steven Eugene Mullins of Madison, Ala., James "Jimmy" Mullins of Haymarket, Richard D. Mullins and John "Kevin" Mullins, both of Manassas; six sisters, Josephine West of Clinton, Md., Maxine Mullins of Pilgrims Knob, Brenda Christian of Manassas, Janice Atwater of Crofton, Md., Patricia Weinhardt of Fredericksburg and Sharon Rose of Jolo, W.Va.; and two brothers, Eugene Mullins of Belmont, N.C. and Michael Mullins of Fredericksburg; and three grandchildren.
