"Norma Elizabeth "Betty" Mullins, 65 of Manassas Park died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at the Prince William Hospital. She was a graduate of West Virginia Business College. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and was active in church activities. She was also a member of the Manassas Park Women's Club and was active in the Senior Group; and an active participant throughout her years in Boy Scouts of America, PTA and Recreation. She was the Commissioner of Revenue for Manassas Park for 19 years having retired in 1996. Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Karmosky of Dumfries; four sons, Steven Eugene Mullins of Madison, Ala., James "Jimmy" Mullins of Haymarket, Richard D. Mullins and John "Kevin" Mullins, both of Manassas; six sisters, Josephine West of Clinton, Md., Maxine Mullins of Pilgrims Knob, Brenda Christian of Manassas, Janice Atwater of Crofton, Md., Patricia Weinhardt of Fredericksburg and Sharon Rose of Jolo, W.Va.; and two brothers, Eugene Mullins of Belmont, N.C. and Michael Mullins of Fredericksburg; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 8006 Centreville Rd., Manassas. A second visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Fanning Funeral Home, Taeger, W.Va. where services will be held at 1 p. m. Burial will follow at Tom Sparks Cemetery, Paynesville, W.Va. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of flowers or contributions to the charity of your choice.
