"Margaret Elizabeth Stanley, 65, of Avondale, WV, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024 at her home with family by her side."Margaret was born in Welch, WV, November 1, 1958 a daughter of Charlie and Lacy Blankenship Vance. Margaret loved her children and grandchildren. She loved her dogs and cats and enjoyed her flowers and doing crafts.
"In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by two brothers, Mose Vance and Charlie “Franklin:” Vance; step-son Rodney Stanley; father-in-law, James “Jimmy” Stanley; and brothers-in-law, Jeffrey “Jeff” Stanley and Marvin Rowe.

Burial will follow in the Powell Cemetery on Coon Branch Mountain near Iaeger, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
