"Lisa Gail Allen Justice, 44, of Amherst, VA, formerly of Bartley, WV, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, in Amherst, VA, after a long battle with Multiple Sclerorsis Lisa was born March 20, 1969, in Bartley, WV, a daughter of the late Hillard and Geneva Puckett Allen. She was a homemaker and enjoyed singing and playing music. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Jeffery Allen, paternal grandmother, Ollie Allen, and her maternal grandparents, Harve and Audrey Puckett. Survivors include one daughter Kaila Denise Justice of Amherst, VA; one sister, Dee Dee and Dempsey Crespo of Amherst; four brothers, Ken Allen, Dewayne and wife Pam Allen, and David Hawk Allen all of Raysal, WV, and William and wife Michelle Allen of Raleigh, NC; her paternal grandfather, Vernie Allen of Raysal, WV; four nieces, Tiffany Allen of SC, Amber and husband Scott Farmer of Lynchburg ,VA, Mamie and Nathan England of Raysal, Ava Allen of Raleigh, NC; two nephews, Mark Crespo of Amherst and Justin Short of Bartley, WV; three great nieces Mahala, Summer, and Allison; two great nephews, Jaden and Avery. "Carrol Wetzel Blankenship, Jr. age 67 of Bremen, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024. He was born on June 16, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Carrol Wetzel Blankenship, Sr. and the late Una Francell Hoderfield. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Kenny Blankenship."Carroll loved his family, and he especially enjoyed teasing his grandchildren. Talking on the phone was one of his favorite pastimes, as was fishing and cooking. Carroll was a wheeler dealer and was adept at making the best trade deals. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
