"Born January 18, 1966 in Richlands, VA she was the daughter of the late William and Pearl Keen. She was of the Pentecostal Faith.

"In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Floyd Keen and sister Helen Yost.

"Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 31 years Paul Gullett; son Austin Gullett and wife Breanna of Princeton, WV; daughter Tiffany Bryant and husband Jeffrey of Bluefield, WV; step daughter Brittany Ingram and husband Zac of Cleveland, NC; five grandchildren, Jaxson and Aubrey Gullett, Aurora Bryant, and Bella and River Ingram; four sisters, Edna Elswick, Shirley Queen, Mary Prater and Juanita Brown; two very special in-laws Paul and Carol Gullett of Premier; and a host of nieces and nephews.

"Kathy was a long time employee of MCNB Bank and loved each and every one of her co-workers. She attended Premier Pentecostal Holiness Church. She took pride in her children and grandchildren and loved spending time together. Kathy will truly be missed by her family and friends.

"Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 1p.m. in The Douglas Mortuary Chapel in Welch with the Rev. Randall Dority officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.

"Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

"Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

"Watsie Elaine Hill, 96, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.

"Born December 17, 1927, in Wyoming County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Goode and Lillian Meadows Goode.

"Watsie was a member of Rockcastle Baptist Church for over eighty years. She loved to sing and enjoyed crocheting, fishing, and going to Mount Cove Lake. She never missed Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune and liked to watch WVU sports on TV. Her favorite past time by far was spending time with her family.

"In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Ira “Junior” Hill Jr; a grandson, Jerry Steven Hill and nine brothers and sisters.

'She will be dearly missed by her three children, Jerry Hill and wife Sandy, Doug Hill and Angie Stewart and husband Gary; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Lloyde Goode; special friends, Rick, Shirley and Billy Jewell and Janice Van Hoy; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved church family."

" Jerry Steven Hill 52, of Pineville passed away on November 20, 2023 from a massive brain bleed. Steven was born January 20 1971, he was the son of Jerry and Sandy McKinney Hill of Beckley.

"Steven attended Pineville High School where he was a star athlete. He was great at all sports but really stood out running the football. He was first team all-state, and his 1988 Pineville High School team were class A state runner’s up. Steven went on to attend Bluefield State College, where he received two engineering degrees. Steven went on to use those degrees during his career, as a boss in the coal mines. The guys that worked with him really enjoyed him as their leader and also respected his work ethic. He was not just their boss but he was their friend.

"Steven was funny, smart, and had a contagious smile that would light up any room that he entered. He was always a comedian the life of the party making people laugh and have a good time. He was also selfless, and loving always putting those around him first. It was truly a gift from God the ability he had to recognize when someone was in need and to know what to do about it, and then able to make it happen. He truly cared for the well being of others. Traits like that you either have them or you don’t and Steven excelled in this area of life.

"Steven also was a lover of the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman ad was really good at both. He loved to camp, ginsing, and do anything that involved being outdoors. He also loved teaching these skills to his loved ones and friends. It was always said that if the Apocolypse was to come That Steven is the one that you would want leading your company.

"The hobby that really had Steven’s heart was playing the guitar. He was a natural and played by ear. Steven could literally hear a song one time and within 10 minutes be playing the whole song. Honestly Steven could play just about any instrument if he wanted to. Steven was truly a talented musician, he was good at writing lyrics and the music for songs. He was talented in many ways. He was great and loving father, husband, son and brother.

"He was preceded in death by his grandparents Elbert Jr. Hill, and Dewey and Violet McKinney, his aunt Linda Hargis, and Cousin, Craig Hargis, his brother-in-law Andrew Breedlove.

"In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include: his one partner in life Leah Hill, his son Dalton and his wife Destiny, grandkids Tommy, Raelyn Hill, Gracie and Lillian Underwood. His daughter Lilly Hill and grandson Baron Ford. His Grandmother Watsie Hill, his loving sister Jessica Hill, his nephews, Braxton, and Jaxston and niece Katie, his loving brother Michael Hill and nieces Joslyn and Kaylee.
