"EVELYN B. FORD (nee Lambert), age 86, of North Ridgeville passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the North Ridge Skilled Nursing Home following a two year illness. She was born July 15, 1927 in Premier, WV. She was the world's best wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with only kind words to say to everyone she came in contact with. Her caring and loving ways came through in her love for cooking and always being there for everyone. She worked as the manager for Gray Drug Store Cafeteria, West 25th St., Cleveland, she worked as a line operator for Union Carbide, Cleveland, but the job she loved most was giving of herself to others. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Barbara Russell (Larry), Tina Browning (Bob), Irene LaRocco (Donald), and Hilda McAtee (the late Rich); one brother, Jack Deskins (Phyliss) of Premier, WV; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James F. Lambert and Eva B. (nee Blevins); step-father, Woodrow Deskins; husband, Robert J. Ford in 1983; grandson, Robert Keith Etchell Ford in 2008; two sisters and four brothers. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
