Carlton was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend."Carlton had a passion for football and enjoyed spending his free time fishing. He was always working on something to keep busy, and his dedication and hard work were admired by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Clarence Hughes and Billy Hughes, and sister Carol Quintana."Carlton is survived by his beloved wife, Lois Hughes, his son Mark Hughes, and step-daughters Karen Collins, Sharon Akers, and Sherry Brooks.
