She was a McDowell County School Bus Driver of 37 ½ years. Alice was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. She loved making jewelry, gardening, taking care of her flowers and most of all sitting by her fire pit.
"In addition to her parents Alice was preceded in death by one son, Gilmer Tracy Jones; one brother Oliver Baker; four brothers-in-law, Larry Smith, Packy Helmintoller, Tommy Cashion and Michael Johnson; niece, Racine Steffanic and her beloved pet, Coco.
