"BLUEFIELD — Clarence E. Lambert, 87, of Rt. 1 Littlesburg Road, Bluefield, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday,
July 19, 2011 at his home. Clarence was born on February 6, 1924 in McDowell County, W.Va. to the late Jess
and Virgie Mitchem Lambert. Clarence was a retired coal miner and member of UMWA # 8784. He last worked at
Kitchekan Fuel Corporation. Clarence was the last surviving member of his family. In addition to his parents, he
was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alice Lambert; son, Wayne Lambert; daughter, Joyce Lambert ;and two
brothers, Preston and Carness Lambert; and sister, Anville Lafferty.
Survivors include his son, Ralph Lambert of Rocky Gap, Va.; daughter, Judy Case of Radford, Va.; seven
grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held for Clarence on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral
Home in Blueweil, W.Va. with the Reverend Danny Gunnoe officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn.
Memorial Park in Blueweil, W.Va. where friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Friends and family may call at
