"Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 1 o’clock with Pastor Kenny Green and Reverend Roger Pete Woods officiating at the Garland Church of the Living God at Betsy Branch in Garland, WV. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery on Coon Brach Mountain in near Iaeger, WV.

He was married to Betty Overby-Clemins (B. 1935) on October 26, 1951 in Capels, McDowell County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, McDowell County, WV. 1951, Page 45, Application Date: October 19, 1951)."Born at Caples, he was a son of the late Charles Beaty Clemins (1883-1948) and Lettie Simpson-Clemins (Deceased). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Beaty Eugene Clemins Sr. (1923–1983), Archie David Clemins (1925–1926), Charles Daily "Harvey" Clemins (1926–1948), and Dave M.
