He was 86. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the church."He was born March 29, 1925, in Richlands, Va., to John and Ethel Corder Haga. He married Dolly Morefield on April 27, 1947, in Davy, W.Va.
"He served in the Army in the invasion on Normandy Beach during World War II. He worked in civil service as an electrician on the Army base in Norfolk, Va., until his retirement.
"Survivors include his wife; a son, Carl Jr. of Eugene; a brother, James of San Antonio, Texas; three sisters, Rita Tejeda of El Paso, Texas, Nellie Fergerson of Eastpoint, Mich., and Emma Tanlowe of Les Plains, Ill.
"Burial will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation & Burial Service in Springfield."
