He leaves behind his loving wife, Dora Cole Thompson; five children, Kenny Thompson of Corydon, Indiana, Sam Thompson of Tallahassee, Florida, Adam Thompson of Albany, Kentucky, Linda Hardin and husband Bob of Corydon, Indiana, Mary Laufman and husband Lance of Tallahassee, Florida; three step-children, Curt and Mark Belcher, both of Dayton, Kentucky, and Pam Belcher of Iaeger, West Virginia; two sisters, Elizabeth Thompson Hayes and Zona Sole; fifteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and special neighbor, Peggy Covey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth M. Thompson & Cleo Grimes Thompson; three brothers, Walter Lee Thompson, Sam Thompson and Russell Murphy. Funeral services for Kenneth W. Thompson will be conducted on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Gary Riley and Roy Moore officiating. Dora Cole Thompson, age 77 of Munfordville, KY, widow of Kenneth Thompson, passed away on Friday, September 30 at her residence."She leaves behind four children, Curt Belcher and wife Leisa of Dayton, KY, Pam Belcher of Iaeger, WV, Mark Belcher and wife Margaret of Dayton, KY, Adam Thompson of Munfordville, KY; six siblings, Jesse Cole, Alex Cole, Michael Cole, Betty Turner, Sandra Hearld, Frank Cole; four grandchildren, Sarah Kestel, Sommer Flores, Jake Belcher, Megan Schneider; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Zona Sole; a special sister-in-law, Elizabeth Thompson Hayes, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
