"Herbert Charles Hurley, 71, of Roderfield, WV, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015, in the McDowell Nursing and Rehabilitation center in Gary, WV."Herbert was born October 14, 1943, in Panther, WV, a son of the late Garfield Hurley (Deceased) and Renia Justice-Hurley (Deceased). He was a retired coal miner and night watch man.
"In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, James Hurley (Deceased), John "Elbert" Hurley (1938-2013), and Thurman Hurley (Deceased) and one sister, Dorothy Hurley-Davis (Deceased).
"Survivors include one sister, Nadine Hurley-Henderson of Panther, WV; one brother, Luther Hurley of Cleveland, OH; a special nephew, Robbie Hurley of Bluefield, WV; a special sister-in-law, Sue Hurley of Panther, WV; several nieces and nephews; two special friends who were always there for him, Benny and Lois Lambert of Roderfield, WV; and a host of additional friends.
