"Glenn was born June 18, 1932 in Jolo, WV, a son of the late Jim and Rose Ella Blankenship. He was Pastor of the Pine Grove Church of Christ. He had 23 years of service with the McDowell County Public School System. Glenn was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
"In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Rosie Long; three brothers, Doyl Ray, Huffard, and Hobert Blankenship; one great grandkid, Lindsie Blankenship.

Marcella Trent, Dale Belcher and great grandson Isaiah Jacob Belcher; three sisters Margrett Paynter, Hazel
Lambert and Lillian Powers; three brothers Ralph Lester, Ringo Lester and her twin brother Herb Lester.
Survivors include three children Marie (Lanny) Jordan of Clear Fork, Roger (Barbara) Belcher of Oceana and
Angie Lester of Oceana; two sisters Jessie Thornsbury of Oceana and Patrisha Langford of Grant, AL; two
brothers J.B. Lester of Smith Mountain, VA and Glenn Lester of Grant, AL; Jennifer Cantrell of Beckley who
