"Eddie “Dean” Roberts, 71, of Welch, WV, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, at Welch Community Hospital in Welch, WV."Eddie was born July 4, 1951 a son of the late Charles Elzie and Letca Lorraine Stewart Roberts. He worked for Pauley Drilling Company for 15 years, was a retired coal truck driver of ten years, and was currently employed with Blue Stone Coal Company as a security officer.
"In addition to his parents Dean was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester and Eli Roberts, and his father and mother-in-law, Oscar and Ruby Meadows whom he loved dearly.
"Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Linda Meadows of the home; two sons, Eddie Dean Roberts Jr. and wife Georgia and Mickey Roberts and wife Amanda all of Welch; one daughter, Fallon Stillwell and husband Billy Ray of Welch; five grandsons, Mick Roberts and wife Hope, Keith Roberts and fiancée Talissa Osborne, Ethan Roberts, Trey Roberts and Lucas Stillwell; three granddaughters, Courtney Roberts and fiancé, Michael Burchett, Lorraine Lambert and boyfriend Anthony Atkins, and Abigail Lambert; one great grandson, Mickey Lee Roberts III (Mickey Joe); two brothers, Teddy Roberts and wife Irene of Iaeger and Cecil Roberts and wife Maggie of Landgraff; one sister, Judy Walker and husband Dale of Kimball; and a host of nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
