home. She was born April 3, 1931 a daughter of the late Posey Lee and Melva Gilespie McGlothlin. She was a
member of the Russell Missionary Baptist Church, owner of Velma's Bargain Outlet, a nurse and worked at
Goodson's in the meat department. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 65
years John Burton "Burt" Pizzino, Sr.; a son John Pizzino, Jr.; two brothers Elton and John Alford
McGlothlin and two sisters Pauline Tilley and Vada McKinney. Survivors include two daughters Debrah
Hargis of Skin Fork and Pamela Atkins of Valdese, NC; two sons Danny (Glenda) Pizzino of Glen Fork and
Richard (Jan) Pizzino of Lexington, KY; thirteen grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; two sisters Oma
