William S. "Bill" Moore

"William S. "Bill" Moore, 51, of Belpre, Ohio, passed away at his residence, on Thursday, March 16, 2017.
Born June 25, 1965 in Huntington, WV, he was the son of Charles "Butch" Moore and the late Martha Hurt Moore.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Welch; and active in its youth programs while in school. He was a honor graduate of Mount View High School, class of 1983. While in school, he was an active member of the tennis and wrestling teams. He was also a graduate of West Virginia University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. He was employed by the city of Welch as Director of Linkous Park pool and instructor in water safety. He also worked for the Department of Agriculture rural development program as an Administrative Management Associate in Morgantown, WV, and for Consulting Coal Services in Welch, WV, as a Sales Accountant- computer systems administrator. He was a proud member of the Welch Volunteer Fire Department, being there when it was first organized and in the first class; he was later promoted to Lieutenant and Trainer.

"In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by, his grandparents, John and Lois Hurt, and Herman and Lois Moore; one niece, Abby Bacho, and three uncles of which he always thought of highly, John Hurt, Howard Cloke and Larry Dalton..


"Survivors include, his father, Charles T. "Butch" Moore of Welch, WV, three sisters, Susan Vega, and husband David of Decatur, GA, Natalie Bacho and husband Stephen of Newman, GA, Meredith Mazon and husband Steven of Kissimmee, FL, nieces Rachael, Paige, and Miranda Vega, Hannah and Charlotte Bacho, and Vivy Mazon, Nephews, Andrew and Lucas Mazon, special aunts in his life, Rosie Hurt, and Lois Cloke of Huntington, WV, and Linda Dalton of Scott Depot, WV, and several cousins.


"Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1 P.M. from the First United Methodist Church in Welch, WV, with the most Reverend Olen Butcher-Winfree, officiating...."

"Dennis Ray "Dink" Morgan, 61, of Bradshaw, WV, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at his residence following a long illness.

"He was born June 18, 1955, in Welch, WV, a son of the late Morris and Mary Robinette Morgan. He worked for Virginia Crews Coal Company for 10 years and was a member of the Followers of Christ Church on Bradshaw Mountain near Paynesville.

"In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Lou Morgan; and two brothers Eddie Morgan and Phillip Morris "Buck" Morgan.

"Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Charlene Payne Morgan of the home; three sons, Dennis Ray Morgan Jr. of Bradshaw, Bobby Morgan and wife Victoria of Raysal, and Mark Morgan and wife Tina of Marytown; two daughters, Jennifer Morgan and companion Harvey Haywood Jr. of Iaeger, and Terri Lynn Key and husband Dwight of Bradshaw; 12 grandchildren, Cody Ray Morgan, Logan Hall, Bobby Creed Morgan, William Riley Hunter Morgan, Terry Horn, Toni Horn, Mark Horn, Amber Atkinson, Thomas Haywood, Andrew Haywood, Austin Bowles and Damien Key; one great grandson, Elijah Lee Atkinson; two sisters, Shelby Decredico and husband Butch of Lorain, OH, and Vivian Morgan and companion Roger Hagerman of Matoaka; and three brothers, Ricky Morgan of Huttonsville, Alfred Morgan and wife Juanita of Iaeger, and Otis Richard Morgan of Panther.
