"Luke "Roger" Kirkendall, 69, of Pineville, WV starting rejoicing in Heaven on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at his
home. He was born on November 21, 1947 in Clear Fork, WV a son of the late Luther and Grasie Allen
Kirkendall. Luke was a retired coal miner of 28 years. A minister of the gospel for 31 years and enjoyed the
outdoors and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother
Jerry Kirkendall; a daughter Veronica Tonett Kirkendall; and a great granddaughter Amiela Faith Kirkendall.
Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 48 years Joyce Kirkendall; three sons Rodney
