"Michael Owen Duffy, 39, of Cyclone, WV went home to be with the Lord following a short illness on
Sunday, June 4, 2017 in CAMC General, Charleston, WV. He was born on August 9, 1977 in Man, WV a son of
Owen and Betty Jane Gibson Duffy, Jr. of Cyclone. Michael attended Joseph Baptist Church and was a 1995
graduate of Oceana High School. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Owen H. and Elsie Mae
Osborne Duffy and Aldie Gibson; uncles and aunts Peggy Duffy Osborne, Johnny Duffy, Betty Duffy Gibson
and Herbert Gibson; and a cousin Jeremy Lee Gibson. In addition to his parents survivors include a daughter
Jessica Duffy of Cyclone; a son Alex Sinecoff of Cyclone; a sister Teresa Duffy of Cyclone; his grandmother
Annie Gibson of Cyclone; a nephew Nelson Workman of Cyclone; his companion Yvonne Osborne of Lynco;
several uncles, aunts and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM
on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Joseph Baptist Church, Lynco, WV with Pastor William Cook officiating.
Friends may gather with the family from 6-9:00 PM on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the church. In keeping
with his wishes he will be cremated following the service..."

"Karen Kolleen Daniels Goodwin, 64, of, Matheny, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, June 9,
2017 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV, following a sudden illness. Karen was born on December 14,
1952 in Welch, WV, a daughter to the late Franklin Delano Daniels and Janice Blankenship Daniels. Karen
was a loving and caring person who was a devoted friend to many, including her animals. She treated
everyone she met with kindness, and would offer a cup of coffee to anyone who came for a visit. Karen was
an avid bible reader with many favorite scriptures, especially close to her heart were 2nd Timothy 4:7, and
Psalms 23:6. She would sit in the middle of her bed every night and read the Bible before she went to sleep.
Karen was a member of Faith Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Franklin Daniels and Janice
Blankenship Daniels, she is preceded in death by a brother, Freddie Franklin Daniels, and a sister, Lois Ann
Daniels; Two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth "Mousie" Daniels and Peggy Daniels; two nephews, Christopher
Michael Hatfield and Terry Wayne Daniels; a niece, Avery Elizabeth Bledsoe. Those left to cherish Karen's
memory include her loving husband of 45 years, Claude Vale Goodwin; three daughters, Danielle Mathis of
Matheny, Ronya (Chuck) Akers of Oceana, and Karrie Allen of Matheny; a son, Alec Goodwin of the home;
two sisters, Rhonda (Michael) Hatfield of Turkey Creek, and Katrina (Betty) Daniels of Bluefield; two
brothers, Terry Lee (Lynn) Daniels and Kevin (Angie) Daniels all of Matheny; Seven grandchildren, Megan,
Trae-Vale, Mollee, Izabella, Addison, Noah, and Karleigh; two great-grandchildren, Eliza and Kyler; and a
host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at
Faith Baptist Church, Matheny, WV with Pastor Johnny Toler officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm
Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Matheny, WV immediately following..."
