Norma Jean was born December 17, 1939 in Raysal, WV, the daughter of the late Frank and Artie Rose Rutter. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her two husbands, Howard Whitt and Eulys Rose; brothers, Marion Rutter, Doug Rutter, Michael Rutter, James Goodman and Clyde Goodman; sisters, Mary Lou Goodman and Gladys Whitt; and stepson, John Rose. Survivors include her children, Jerry (Eleanor) Whitt of Bradshaw, Victor (Anne) Whitt of Somerville, AL, Bobby (Dianne) Whitt of Rocky Mount, VA, Terry (Cathy) Whitt of Tazewell, VA, Charles (Kathy) Rose of Laraysville, PA, Gloria (Charles) Adams of Raysal and Lizzie Brewer of Welch; brother Billy (Agnes) Rutter of Tazewell; sister, Alice Coleman of Gary; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
