"It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our sweet, dear mother and grandmother, who passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 8, 2017 at the age of 97.
"She was born on April 28, 1919, the daughter of the late Jacob Calloway and Mary Horn Wagner, and the wife of the late Joshua Hagerman. She was of Pentecostal Faith.
"In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son Jack Hagerman, and daughter Judy Carol Lowe; brothersJarvey, Uless, Harvey, Alvis, and Elmer Wagner; one sister Lethia White; grandchildren James Uless Hagerman, Mark Daniel Hagerman, David Hart, Bruce Hagerman, James Russel Hagerman, and Alvis Bowles; great grandchildren, Samantha Lucus, Joey Harrison, James Adam Williams and great great grandchild Chandler Marushia.
"She married her husband Joshua at the age of 16. From this union were born 13 loving children, 54 grandchildren, 110 great grandchildren, and 57 great great grandchildren. I cannot find the words to tell you how much she was loved by all. She was more than just a mother to us, she was a living presence and each memory brings her very close to us that held her dear. She never had lonesome hours, for her children included her daily in their lives. They were all so good to her, making her every desire the concern of them all. Her patience and kindness, and the faith to press on, has drawn admiration from all that knew her. A better mother to us all there could never have been. Her face we love so dear, her voice we love to hear, far away from us now, but not to far away from our thoughts to reach. Memories are one gift that God has given us. She was loved by everyone that knew her. What is written here may soon be forgotten, but the sweet memories of her will linger in our hearts forever.
