She is the daughter of the late Gladys “Ditchie” and Robert “Bob” Collins."Fern, as most knew her, was a teacher and business owner of the 3-Way Laundromat and 3-Way Shell station in Iaeger, WV, and Hilltop Grocery in Litwar, WV. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and playing bingo. She was an avid animal lover and also enjoyed her time with her cats.
"In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Roy “Cash” Hurley, two sons, Roy “Chucky” Hurley Jr., and Steve “Beard” Hurley. One Grandson, Brandon Lockhart, and one sister Janet Dorton.
"Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter Debbie and husband Clyde Lockhart of Iaeger, WV, five grandchildren, Stephanie and husband James Hebert of Goldsboro, NC, Amy and wife Taylor Lusk of Iaeger, WV, Tara and husband Roho French of Peterstown, WV, Gregory and wife Kayla Hurley of Sprattsville, WV, Landon and wife Brittany Hurley of Iaeger, WV. She cherished eleven great-grandchildren, Meaghan and Madelyn Hebert, Caleb Kennedy, Gabriel and Gavin French, Macy and Cash Hurley, Chloe, Blakleigh, and Holston Hurley, and Noah Lockhart.
