"Bobby Lee McPeak, 62, of Hemphill passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton."Born January 25, 1958 in Hemphill he was the son of the late Earl Grady McPeak and Madeline Mavis Mullins Wyrick. He was a former backwasher with the McDowell County PSD, and was of the Methodist Faith.
"In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Mullins and Earl R. McPeak, and a sister, Cathy A. McPeak.
"Those left to cherish his memories are three brothers, Earl McPeak and wife Susan, Timmy McPeak and Paul McPeak all of North Carolina; four sisters, Nyoka McPeak and husband Lloyd Lipscomb of Welch, Frances Mullins and husband Shannon of Virginia, Patricia Baldwin and husband Rockie of Beckley, and Christina Rash and husband Charles of North Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews.
"Private graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2020 at Thompson Cemetery at Big Jenny, WV with Rev. Johnny Kelly officiating. Due to the current health situation there will be no visitation and social distancing practice will be followed.
