"PSG Dencil Ray Blankenship, Vietnam Veteran and Panther, Buchanan County, West Virginia Native."PSG Dencil Ray Blankenship was a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, PSG Blankenship served our country until October 19, 1970, South Vietnam. He was 28 years old and was not married. It was reported that He was killed in a non-hostile road accident. He was born in Panther, West Virginia, on May 17th, 1942. His body was recovered. PSG Blanksenhip is on panel 6W, line 008 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for more than 8 years.
