He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He owned and operated Raymond’s Restaurant and Catering and attended the First Baptist Church in Welch.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, one brother, Howard Bean, seven sisters, Lela, Edith, Ruby, Mildred, Kathleen, Opal, and Evelyn; he was the last of 9 siblings.Survivors include, his wife of 44 years, Ann Campbell Bean of the home, several nieces and nephews.The family is honoring his wishes to be cremated with no services..."
