"Mrs. Anna W. Quesenberry, age 84, died of respiratory failure Monday (Jan 26, 2009) in Winter Haven, FL. She was born in Coalwood, raised in Bartley, and moved to Bradshaw after marriage where she raised 4 girls."Her many jobs included bookkeeper- for a coal mining company, Triple L. Chevrolet, a growers co-op in MI, and a podiatrist in Huntington, WV. She also was a headstart teacher, postal employee, and sorority house Mom at Marshall University. She loved music and played the piano at Bradshaw Methodist Church along with leading the choirs and teaching Sunday School. She was a selfless woman taking care of her family and others in need. She moved to Winter Haven, FL in 2002.
"She was predeceased by husband Leo C. Quesenberry.
She is survived by her daughters: Carla Bryan, Winter Haven, FL; Dawn Porter, Huntington; Lea Ott, Castro Valley, CA; Tina Meek, Canon City, CO; sisters: Frances Beavers, Chattanooga, TN; Mary Pruitt, Jonesboro, AR; 14 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren."Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009 at 1:00 PM in Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton, WV with Pastor Don Ott officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Courthouse Road in Princeton. Friends may call one hour prior to Services Saturday at the Funeral Home or may leave online condolences at www.memorialfd.com.
