David was born December 12, 1956 in Welch, WV, a son of the late Foster Faye and Louise Collins Vanover. He was a truck driver and enjoyed hunting. In addition to his parents David was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Vanover. Survivors include two daughters, Missy Ann Mullins of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Nicole Dawn Vanover of Statesville, NC; one brother, Donald Vanover and wife Sheila of Roderfield, WV; three grandchildren Zackary Mullins of Alabama, Marco Antonio Ramirez, Micah Rayland Jack of North Carolina; a niece Tonia Tyesinger of North Carolina; and his cousin and best friend, Butchie Coleman. "Verda Mae Ward, 88, of North Spring, WV, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at her residence. Verda was born May 10, 1929 in Hanover, WV, a daughter of the late Iaeger and Alma Hatfield Cline. She loved the Lord and reading her bible and was a member of the Little Cub Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed singing with Janet Cline when she visited. Verda also enjoyed watching TV cooking shows. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three husbands, George Davis, Ballard Ward, and Cecil Kenneda; one son, Randall Davis; six brothers, Joe, Hubert, Tracy, Earl, Jourdan, and Franklin "Dee" Cline; and an infant brother, George. Survivors include one daughter, Darlene Davis Addair and husband Wayne of North Spring, WV; one son, Danny Davis and wife Debbie of Cleveland, NC; one daughter-in-law, Margaret Davis of North Spring, WV; one sister, Shirley Facello of Oklahoma City, OK; two brothers, Iaeger Cline Jr. of Akron, OH, and Everett Cline of Columbus, OH; seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; and her special friends, Selena Blevins, Felicity Auville, Jamie Berry, Reverend Tim Day and his son Caleb Day and all the staff of Amedisys Hospice of Bluefield, whom we are truly grateful for all your special care. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 18, 2018, at 1 o’clock with Reverend Dennis Lester, Reverend Jackie Lester and Reverend William Cook officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV.
