"Harold was a Christian and loved the Lord. He was a retired foreman from Cabot Natural Gas in Pineville. He loved being outdoors, working in his yard, fishing and working his flowers. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His family meant the world to him, and he loved them dearly.
"Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Anita Workman Cook, His three sons Harold Alfon Cook and his wife Candie, James Blaine Cook and his wife Dawn, and Michael Paul Workman and his wife Kelli. She was one of seven children born to the late Curtis and Eulah Castle Meade. She was a faithful member of the Oceana Church Of Christ and a part-time cook at Kopperston Grade School.
"In addition to her parents, Flo was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Harry F. Cook; her son, Harry Dale Cook; in-laws, J. Earl and Lula Rollins Cook, James E. Cook, Henry Eugene Cook, Edith Cook and Helen Adams Meade and Elizabeth (Mousie) Daniels; and siblings, Estill Meade, Lloyd Meade, Pauline Meade Scarberry, Fred Meade and Darrell Meade.
