"Helen Marsili Colombo, 84, of Elbert, WV, passed away on January 24, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Born, July 03, 1933 in Lynch, KY, she was the daughter of the late Sabatino and Rosa Quitarrini Marsili. She graduated from Lynch High School, and then Beauty School before moving to McDowell County. She opened her beauty shop in the US Steel Company Store in Elbert before moving it to her home in Elbert, where she worked until her retirement. Helen was a life-long member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Gary, WV. She served as president of the Altar Society for many years. She was a member of the American Legion as well. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, her husband Carlo Colombo, an infant daughter Carolyn, plus many sisters and brothers. She is survived by her 8 children, whom she was devoted to. They are: Robert Anthony Colombo, of Princeton, WV, Dr. Carl Samuel (Michelle) Colombo, of York, PA, Teresa Colombo of the home, Cathy (Cecil) Patterson of Caretta WV, Jean Colombo and Donnie Covert of Winfield, WV, Carla (Major George) Brown of Roanoke VA, Mary Colombo and Mike Clark of Glen Easton, WV, Gino (Sharon) Colombo of Henrico, Va. and Dr. Robert (Suzanne) Cure of Barboursville, WV. Grandchildren are: William Patterson of Huntington, WV, Nicholas (Kayla) Patterson of Catawba, NC, Danielle (Dr.Zach) Worzel, of Mt.
