Bob, originally from Mecca, Indiana, served on the U.S. Army before settling down in Iaeger, West Virginia where he worked in the coal mines for 27 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and he enjoyed traveling, hunting and fishing, gardening, going four wheeling, participating in shooting matches, but most of all, spending time with his family."Bob was a loving husband and doting daddy, papaw, and great-grandpa. He shared his life with his wife of 55 years, Janice “Mom” Wilson with whom he raised six amazing children: Tammie & Ricky Cleary of Gary, WV; Teresa & Doug Blair of Iaeger, WV; Kurt and Toni Wilson of Hickory, NC; Trenna and Curly Keaton of Iaeger, WV; Ginger and Scottie Justice of Panther, WV; Allison and Joe Price of Iaeger, WV. Bob is preceded in death by his dad and mom, Harley and Sarah Wilson; three sisters: Bernice Watson, Dorothy Sheets, and Clara Morris; and a brother, Presley Haughee.
