"Henry Roland Payne, 83, of Jolo, WV, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018, in the McDowell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Gary, WV. Henry was born April 3, 1937 in Paynesville, WV, a son of the late Tom R. and Lilly Mae Hall Payne. He was a member of the Mary Lou Old Regular Baptist Church and a coal miner. He was the last surviving member of his original family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Lester Payne; a daughter, Peggy Payne; four brothers, Jim, William Taylor, Howard, and Fred Payne; a sister, Glenedith Payne; and two dogs, Misty and Booger.
