Christine Addair Rose, 71, of 516 Knowl St., Martinsville, died Sunday, July 30, 2006, at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville.
She was born Oct. 15, 1934, in Keystone, W. Va. to Harvey Addair and Alma Brown Addair. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Rose Sr.; a son, Odell "Skipper" Rose Jr.; a brother, Donald Addair; and two sisters, Phyllis Keffer and Juanita Del Cont.
She retired from Lacy Manufacturing after 15 years of service. She was a member of Bassett Worship Center and attended Clearview Gospel Mission.
Surviving are two sons, Danny Rusty Rose of Martinsville and Brian K. Rose of Marion, N.C.; three daughters, Pamela C. Martin of Greensboro, N.C., R. Darlene Griffin of Martinsville and Melissa R. Hill of Bassett; four sisters, Maxine Meyers of Freemont, Ohio, Dixie Hoppes, Brenda Whaley and Sandra Lee of Galveston, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Susan Adkins officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park...."
