"Ellena D. Belcher Massey, 71, of Oceana, WV, went home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2020 at Bowers Hospice
House, Beckley, WV. She was born on March 12, 1949 in Oceana a daughter of the late Ralph and Hazel Hughes
Belcher. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers Dennis and Ronald Belcher; a sister
Judy Belcher; brother-in-law Tommy Marsh; and nephew Taylor Cook. Survivors include her husband Roger
Massey; three sisters Anna Marsh, Sharon (Wilson) Proffitt and Karen (Ronnie) Woolridge; a brother Jimmy
(Crystal) Belcher; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Ellena is loved by her family
and will be missed by all. She considered her nieces and nephews her children. She loved them so much and they
all loved her. When she was well she loved going to church. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Monday June
29, 2020 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Minister Joe Brinkley officiating. She
will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 12 pm until
time of services on Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The Family is being served
by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV."
