Born December 23, 1927 in Bradshaw WV, He was the son of the late Leroy and Elizabeth Freeman Shrader. He attended the Pentecostal holiness and the Jehovah Witness Churches. He was a retired coal miner from vpi Island Creek Coal Company and Consol Coal. He served in the 101st Airborne Division during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, one son, one daughter, one son in law, two daughter in laws, one brother, one sister, and several Granddaughters and Grandsons. Survivors include, by sons Roy J Shrader Jr of War WV, Allan (Diane) Shrader of Welcome N.C., Daughters, Connie Marshall of TX, Sherry (Ballard) Kirk of Yukon WV, Shiela Mullins of Oakwood VA, Sharon Adams of Coalwood WV, Peggy Boothe of Roanoke VA, Virginia Hunt of N.C., Theresa Walton of Bluefield WV, one brother, Arvalroy Young of S.C., Thirty Four Grandchildren, and Fifty one Great Grandchildren, one Great Great Grandchild.
