She was born in Welch, W.Va., and lived since childhood in the Tidewater area. She was a member of Lynnhaven Colony Congregational Church.
Survivors include her husband, Hugh K. Oberg Jr.; a son, H. Kenneth Oberg III of Virginia Beach; and three sisters, Donna A. Baxter of Norfolk, Doris A. Fisher and Mary A. Makinson of Virginia Beach.
