"Tom was a member of the Black Eagle First Baptist Church. He worked for the Glem Co/ WV Engineering for 20 years having retired in the early 90’s and was a member of UMWA local #7086 District # 17. He loved working, taking care of his family, and going to church. In his leisure he enjoyed fishing, hunting, ginsenging, and gardening.
"He was the perfect husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
"In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by one brother, Jim Mills.
"Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 55 years, Vada Mills; one son, Teddy Mills and his wife, Lahoma of Crab Orchard; one daughter, Tina Blankenship and her husband, Chris of Union Hall, VA; one brother, Denny Mills and his wife, Sandy of Basin; a sister, Alberta McKinney of Stephenson; and his grandchildren and great grandchildren that he loved so dearly.
