Center following a long illness. He was born on July 25, 1936 in Branchland, WV to the late Haskel Eplin, Sr.
and Estylla Spears Eplin. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife Sandra Johnson
"Tootie" Eplin; two sisters Betty Eplin and Linda McDaniels; and two brothers Paul and Greg. Jimmy loved
going to church and attended many churches but Cyclone Church of God was his home church. He also
enjoyed reading his bible, listening to preaching and gospel music. He was a member of the UMWA and
retired from the mining industry after 28 years. He was a United States Veteran having served as a Marine
in the Korean War. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Latha Lusk Eplin of five and half years, whom he
loved dearly; a son Timmy and Wife Shelia of Greenville; a brother Gary and wife Deanna of Davin; three
