"Franklin “Kenny” “Gummy” Hunley, 60, of Pageton, WV, went to be with the Lord, on Sunday, June 10, 2018. Born October, 22, 1957 in Welch, WV, he was the son of Nannie Rose Hunley and the late Frank Hunley.He worked thirty-two years for the city of Gary, where he made many friends. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his Grandsons, riding motorcycles, and fixing cars, and talking to neighbors. He was a firefighter for 405 Gary #9. He married the love of his life Sheila Pendry Hunley on October 10, 1980, they had two children. He was a member of the NorthFork Elkhorn Church of God and he loved working in the Church.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Fred and Rebecca Hunley, and Wilson and Evelyn Rose, a special aunt and uncle that he loved as his second family, Drew and Viola Rose, and his mother in law Shirley Belcher. Survivors include, his wife of thirty seven years, Sheila Pendry Hunley, his mother, Nannie Rose Hunley, his children, Jessica Fowler and husband Mickey, and Jimmie Hunley of Pageton. Grandsons, Patrick and Jeremy Luster, Jessie, Dakota, and Dalton Fowler, sisters, Joann and Bo Davis, Tina Thompson, Kaye Hunley, Pat and John Dillon, Donna and Mike Shavatt, Grace and Chuck Monitor. Brothers, Ricky and Teresa Hunley, Louie and Karen Hunley, Bill and Tammy Hunley, Junior Rose, Sylvester and Lovella Rose, Doug and Mona Rose, Bill and Diane Rose, two brother in laws, he loved like brothers, Mike and Carey Pendry, and Chris and Shannon Pendry, several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, his Church family and his family of thirty two years the City of Gary.Funeral Services will be conducted, Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 12 Noon from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch, WV, with Pastor Dean Hatfield, and Pastor Omar Burns officiating, burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell WV...."
