He is survived by one son, Charles Brewster of Eastside, and one son and three daughters who live in Virginia.
"Brewster came to Bandon in 1918 from Virginia and has been a local rancher ever since. The services were held in the Baptist Church with Rev. D. Loree in charge.
"Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery. The body was removed last Wednesday to the Schroeder mortuary in Coquille...."

"Kenneth Ray Crabtree 66, of Middleburg, Fla., died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, in Shands Hospital, Jacksonville, Fla., of complications resulting from an automobile accident."He was born Sept. 1, 1939, in Superior, W.Va., to the late Sidney Ray and Edith Buchanan Crabtree. He was a 1957 graduate of Welch High School. Immediately upon graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy turning it into a 27-year career, which took him to every continent of the world. He was a Vietnam veteran, and a member of the elite Special Forces Black Ponies. He retired from the Navy in October of 1983 as a Chief Petty Officer.
"After retirement, he continued to enjoy life, serving his God and country. He was of the protestant faith, and a Mason. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, and was an excellent craftsman, working with wood and leather.
"Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Anderson; toddler daughters, Kimberly Lynn Crabtree and Lisa Karen Crabtree; and a brother, William Theodore Crabtree.
"Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Laura Bishop Crabtree; daughters, Crystal (Matt) Clark of Pensacola, Fla., Lora (Rick) Smith of Middleburg, Fla.; sons, Eric Crabtree (Susan) of Orange Park, Fla., Bill Garrison (Kim) and Jimmy (Jo'D) Garrison, all of Middleburg, Fla., Michael (Michaelynn) of Irmo, S.C., and 1st Sgt.
