I surmise, to honor her late husband, she used Dillon perpetually as her maiden name . Mary Elizabeth Rose Dillon married Floyd Edward Gillespie Bailey.(Floyd's biological parents are often found as Harrison and Sally Bailey. He told my aunts,uncles and my mother, hw was raised by the Gillespies. Floyd and Mary lived and raised their family in Va and WV, all of their lives. They are NOT the same as the liked named Harrison Bailey and Sally Nantz descendants that raised their family in KY, despite many erroneous family trees on Ancestry that have this fact confused. He had been a resident of Princeton for 14 years and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a retired coal miner and was a member of the Local Union 5997 Premier.
"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Audrey Muncy Brewster; three brothers, Clyde, John Patton, and George; four sisters, Malinda, Mary Magaline, Hettie & Della; and one grandson, Brandon Wolfe Brewster.
