"Debra Lewis Carter, 51 years old, born on July 18, 1965, passed away early Saturday morning after her battle with brain cancer. She is survived by her daughter Amanda Poteet and her husband Jared of Mountain Home, Idaho; parents William and Theresa Lewis of Pineville, WV; one sister Rhonda Rose-Powers and her husband Gerard of Cool Ridge, WV; one niece, Whitney Rose of Morgantown, WV; along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.Debra was preceded in death by her grandparents Willis and Ruby Workman of Key Rock, WV, and Hobert Lewis and Edith Mae Cox of Pineville, WV.
Debra was an avid motorcyclist, and active member in the NRA, loved the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
Services to celebrate Debra’s beautiful life and her victory will be held Sunday November 13, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Pineville Church of the Nazarene (Rt 10 in Pineville) with social gathering immediately following afterward.
