"Bobby was a coal miner for 17 years having last worked at Itmann. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and also spent two years in the National Guard. Bobby attended the Beckley Church of God.
"In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his two brothers, James Harold and William Arnold “Bud” McKendree.
"Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lou-Ella McKendree of Mullens; one son, Kevin Ray McKendree and his wife, Karen of Glen Fork; two grandchildren, Sara Renee Sizemore and her husband, Jason of Ravencliff and Kevin Ray McKendree, II and his companion, Cheyenne Stewart of Matheny; two great grandchildren, Braelyn Johnson and Samuel Sizemore; and one sister, Norma Jean Shephard of Florida.
